This is Me!

Hi there!! 

My name is Tais and I started this blog to share some of my craziness about nail art. It started not long ago, it was 2010 and I was looking for a way to stop biting my nails. I started to do the gayest (sorry – I say that a lot of things are gay, but I do as compliment, ok? Do not take it the wrong way ;) ) and cutest things on my nails so that I would be more concerned about ruining it.  Because of that, now, almost 4 years later, I am addicted to nail art and almost never more did I bite my nails to the shortest length (sometimes it happens because I am very anxious :( ). Because of this addiction I will come here to show you what I have been doing and what I have done at least once a week.

I am from Brazil and live in Sao Paulo city. I am a Chemist and 26 years old for now.  I like being a chemist and all nerd and everything, but I have some kind of creativity that I cannot express when being a chemist, so I paint my nails and make some kinds of jewelry to work with that side of mine in my free time. Sometimes I make soap in cute forms and I already made some indie polishes for myself.

 I like to paint the craziest and cutest things in my nails. I like being nerdy, funny and creative, but sometimes I get stuck :/. I like when somebody I know asks a challenge for my next nail art and I like when I exceed that person expectations about it. I like cats and Sponge Bob – A lot. I like my cats the most. I like to shop for nail polishes (a lot. I have almost no control!), girly things, little toys, clothes and Melissa’s shoes. I like to paint my nails with every color possible, except light and candy pink (argh pink – is so girly!) and red (it is beautiful but is sooo grown up! It looks very strange in my hands).

I like Star wars, Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, Glee, Once Upon a Time, Musical movies, cute things. Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, Giant Microbes plushies, geek jewelry, Disney and Pixar movies, Glitter nail polish. I like manga (the japanese comics) a lot, I am always reading something.

One last thing I think everybody should know about me: I am the only person that I know that has a Princess Dragon. :3 so cute!

From time to time, you'll find a post from Nicole, a good friend of mine <3. I asked her if she would join me in this new adventure of creating a nail art blog and she said yes :D (and I loved it!).
